ADDINGTON MARKET. fßy Telegraph—Per Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, October 21. There was a drop in prices at the live stock sale to-day at Addington. There was a slightly larger yarding of store sheep, chiefly of ewes and lambs at foot. It was a mediocre catalogue. Last week's values were maintained for the best quality. Others were easier. There was a large yarding of fat sheep, all grades being represented. The market was slightly easier, especially at the closing stages. Exhibition wethers sold up to 28s lOd, heavy 21s to 22s 6d, prime 19s to 20s 6cl, medium 17k to 18s 6d, light 15s to 16s 6d, inferior from 13s lOd.. Exhibition ewes sold to 20s 4d, heavy 18s 6d to 20s, prime 16s 6d to 18s, medium 14s 6d to 16s, light 12s 6d to 14s, inferior from 10s 4d.

There was a large yarding of spring lambs, mostly of good quality. Values were on a lower basis, owing to the heavy yarding. Heavy prime lambs sold to 26s lOd, prime 18s 6d to 245, medium 15s to 18s, light from 12s. There was a large quantity of beef forward consisting mostly of prime quality. Prices were on a slightly lower basis. It was an irregular market, f. There was a smaller yarding of fat pigs. Heavy weights were again easier. Pot'kers sold 38s to 48s, heavy porkers 41s to 45s 63, choppers £2 10s to £4 3s 6d, baconers 47s 6d 'to 54s 6d, heavier 58s 6d to £3 5s 6d. Store pigs were easier owing principally to there being a large yarding.
