INDIA CONFERENCE
A BETTER REPORT. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, October 16. When the Federal Structure Committee on the Indian Round Table Conference met to-day, Lord Sankey intimated that a private exchange of views between representatives of various sections whose interests were affected by the report of the Finance sub-Commit-tee had yielded promising results, and he suggested that the conversations should continue on Monday, as there was a strong lildihood that a very large measure of agreement would ho reached.
The Federal Structure Committee therefore adjourned till Tuesday, when the question of a Federal Court will be discussed.
Among the speakers at to-day’s meeting was His Highness, the Chief of Sangli, who, on behalf of a large number of the smaller Native States of India said that the Financial SubCommittee had done its work admirably, and when necessary adjustments had been made ,complete agreement should be possible.
