WESTLAND DRUIDS LODGE
'l'he ordinary meeting of the Lodge was held on Thursday, Bth. October, Bro. C. Gutberlet presiding over a fair attendance of members. Bards reported eight members on the sick list all doing well. Sick pay amounting to a total of £6 3s Ud was passed for payment by the Lodge. Accounts amounting to a total of £3 Is were also passed for payment. Mr S. King was proposed as a new member of the Lodge. The business of the evening was suspended at this juncture for the Past Arch Medal Competition. The competition was a very keen one, eight past Arch Druids competing for the medal. After a very close contest D.P. Bro. F. Ballinger was declared the winner gaining 74 points. P.A. Sr. Rjdland second place with 71 points and P.A. Sr. Ballinger third with 68 points.
The Arch Druid then made the presentation of the Medal, and iin doing so expressed great praise to the winner on his veiw fine performance.* No further business, the Lodge closed in the usual harmonious way.
