ECHO OF ROYAL SURVEY CASE. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association) AUCKLAND, October 14. It is learned that an action is to be brought against the New Zealand Racing Conference on behalf of L, H. Watson, a jockey who was disqualified for life in coiusootjim with what is known as the Royal Survqy case. Watson has instructed Mr V. R. Meredith to aet on his behalf and the amount to he claimed is said to be a large one, HORSE SCRATCHED. CHRISTCHURCH, October 16. Chopin was scratched for all engagements in the Canterbury Jockey Club at nine o’clock this morning.
