Mahatma Gandhi made a startling statement in .regard to the future of India at a Labour Club meeting under the presidency of Rt. Hon. A. Henderson: “I’d consider it nothing if we had to pay a million lives lor our liberty, but whether it is one life or a million, we have to pay.
