China has informed the League of Nations that a fresh note which is being presented, is demanding the Jap_ anese evacuation of the occupied territory in China, A CHINESE REQUEST. GENEVA, October 11: China, has formally demanded that the League send a mission of investigation to Manchuria, introducing a serious obstacle to the League’s task of reconciliation, as Japanese have consistently refused third party investigation.
