AL CAPONE. United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph -jCopyright.) NEW YORK, October 6. A! Capone pleaded not guilty to the income tax evasion charges cabled on July 31. Journalists, after seeing him tremble while standing before the Bar and Judge Wilkerson to-dav, asked him whether he was worried. He put a piece of candy in his mouth, chewed vigorously for a moment, and then said: ‘‘Who would not be worried ? II do not know if I will be acquitted. Sure I am worried!”
Capone last Saturday attended a, University football match, surrounded by a bodyguard. Spectators, on recognising hun, booed, and he was compelled to leave before the conclusion of the game.
