BRUENIXG’S EXTRA TASK. (United Press Association..—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) BERLIN, October 6. According to the “Berlin Tageblatt,” Chancellor Bruening is strengthening his Cabinet in preparation for facing a troublesome Reichstag on October 13. The paper predicts that Dr Curtins will resign the Foreign -Ministry to-morrow and that Dr Bruening will be taking over the portfolio of Foreign Affairs. A new Ministry is being created to settle the unemployed on the Jatld, as, part of a plan for minlsierihg ' the hardship of the coming winter. RESHUFFLING OP CABINET. Herr Curtius has resigned. It is understood to be part of Herr Bruening’s plan of Cabinet reconstruction, necessitated by the defection off a section of the Social Democrats. The Minister of the Interior, Herr Weith arid three other Ministers are also expected to be dropped.
