Judge Beeby, as the Royal Commissioner who inquired recently whether Jacob Johnson the former seamen's secretary, was wrongly convicted tor inciting' the crew of the steamer “Bearwon” to strike in 19*22 wherefore he served 4} months imprison inent, found there was no miscai riage of justice and that the occasion of conviction was thus sustained.
