BAND CONTEST
DATE FOR WELLINGTON EVENT, WELLINGTON, September 30. Economic conditions will not prevent the. holding of the band competitions in Wellington next February, and a meeting of the Wellington Band Contest Committee this evening fixed tne contest for February 20th and 26th. The competition this year was cancelled at short notice on account of the Hawke’s Bay earthquake, and in view of its abandonment, the committee considers that tli e 1932 fixture is desirable. t’. '
