WELLINGTON. October 2
The Court of Appeal delivered its reserved decision in the case of Law Society v. William Fallon this morning. An order was made striking Fallon off the rolls of barristers and solicitors and for payment of £ls 15s costs and disbursements to the Law Society.
The Chief Justice (Sir M. Myers) delivering judgment said it was impossible to resist the conclusion taint a practitioner at times when he received moneys from his accountant knew they were not the property of his firm, but were payments to him out of trust moneys.
JUDGMENT RESERVED. WELLINGTON, October 2. In the Appeal Court in the case of Bortliwick and Co. v. Ryan, after Mr Richmond replied at some length ito qpe.stipb ,qj; ( .ln\y l ,,Vth i y?e<l by lop tbe defendants, the Court adjourned reserving its decision.
SOLICITOR STRUCK OFF. WELLINGTON, October 2. The Court of Appeal this morning made an older striking James Francis I Disking, of Auckland, oil the rolls ol barristers and solicitors of the Dominion. The order was consented to by the practitioner. The sum of £2(5 5s costs and disbursements wore allowed to the Law Society.
