THE RAILWAYS. Although the railways problem is one of immediate urgency, dominated hv unusual financial stress, the Board’s recommendations have an important hearing on the future finances of the country. Parliament will do a grave disservice to the Dominion if it fails to support the Board in its efforts to deal with what all must now realise to be an issue of vital concern to the country as a whole. —The Dominion.
