BEEKEEPERS RESENTFUL. (By Teieyrapli —ter Brens Association) HAMILTON, September 29. Resentment at the attitude of the Chambers of Commerce in opposing the bill to provide for a Honey Marketing Board was expressed at the meeting of the South Auckland Blanch oj' the National Beekeepers Association at Hamilton to-day. The following resolution was canned unanimously ; “That this branch of the National Beekeepers Association, whose members produce nearly half the total quantity of honey in New Zealand unanimously resent the action of the Associated Chambers of Commerce asserting they are fostering the interests of the beekeepers by opposing the .proposed Local Marketing Act. This Association feels that if the Chambers of Commerce are sincere in their wish to protect the interests of the beekeepers, they should immediately withdraw their opposition to the measure, which is of vital importance to the progress of the honey industry.”
