SHOOTING PIGEONS

Percy Feary, at Moana, on Sunday, September- 6th., was detected: by a constable who was disguised as a swagger, shooting native pigeons. He was convicted to-day and fined £2 with costs on a charge of killing, and also £2 on the possession charge, and to pay costs and the Acclimatisation Society’s expenses.
