i • CHARGED WITH BEING DRUNK. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, September 22. As a sequel to a collision on River Road last night when four people were slightly injured, Kenneth Andrew Bayne, single, a wood sa.esman, was charged to-day with being drunk in charge of a horse and cart and resisting arrest. He was convicted and fined £lO in default two months hard labour.

Bayne’s cart collided with a motorcar that was considerably damaged.
