The 6d “Aussie” improves on acquaintance and this one time 8d magazine certainly seems to be giving better value at the lower price. One of the most amusing features in the latest issue is a. long story entitled “Balloons and Sausages” by that great Australian humorist “Kodak.” In picture, story; and verse, leading writers throughout Australia and N.Z. make v-p a splendid issue. In a striking double page cartoon M,r G. K. Townshend (formerly of Auckland) sums up the cause of the- depression. Inte-estinig competitions in the latest issue indude one iin which the -first prize is twenty ft \ineas and there are 99 other prize, The monthly quotations competition is also quite an) interesting feature.
