EXTRADITION GRANTED

COLOMBIA BANK OFFICER. WELLINGTON, September 15. Stating that in his opinion the extiadition papers were in order, the Magistrate (Mr Page) to-day committed Duncan Stewart Reid to prison to await his surrender to the Republic of Colombia on a charge of theft ay «u agent. Reid was a bank officer in the employ of the Bank of London and South America at Barranquilla, and was alleged to have stolen about £2OOO. Mr Page told the accused Chat he would not he surrendered lor fifteen days from that date and had the rig to apply tor a writ of habeas corpus.
