WASHINGTON, September 16,

The Navy Department announced a Radio report* to the coastguard station at Seattle advised that Moyle and Allen are discovered. They landed safely on an uninhabiied island in Bering Sea. Moyle sent a message to his'fiancee: “Everything all right, be in Seattle on September 22.” A later message states that the fliers were reported safe by three Soviet vessels on an island in Olutor Bay in the Gulf of Kamchatka.

A message ■ intercepted by the United States coastguard cutter “Itasia” of the Bering Sea patrol, stated that the fliers were aboard the Soviet steamer “Pialy Krabalobe.”

AMPHIBIAN CRASHES

CARRYING SUPPLIES TO BELIZE

NEW YORK, September 16,

A Panama City message states;—A United States naval amphibian plane, carrying medical supplies to Belize, crashed and was burned near Panama City. Three were killed and one injured. MAIL PLANE CHASHES. SAN FRANCTSCD, September 16. The United States Air Liner mail plane en route from Portland (Oregon) crashed in San Francisco Bay killing the pilot and three passengers. DESTROYER CONSTRUCTION.

The Navy Department has opened bids for the construction of eleven destroyers.
