ARAHURA FAT STOCK SALE. Messrs M. Houston and Co. report:— At Monday’s sal© at the above yards our entry consisted of 30 head of fat. cattle which were submitted to a smaller attendance of buyers than usual. Prices realised however were equal to those ruling at Metropolitan yards and quite satisfactory to,vendors. We quote ox beef at an average of 28s to 32s per hundred and heifer beef from 26s to 30s. We sold as follows:
On account of F. G. Williams and Sons 3 steers at £B, 1 at {ft 7s 6d, 1 stag at-' £6. On account of W. F. Diedrichs 2 bullocks at £lO ss, 1 at £9 7s 6d, 2 at £8 10s, 1 at £lO, 2 at £l2 10s, 2 at £l2 7s 6d, 1 at £ll 7s 6d, 2 at £l2 2s 6d, ,1 at £l3 7s 6d. On account of O. Sadler 1 heifer at £8 15s, 2 cows at £6 12s ,6d, 5 heifers at £7 10s.
