ENGLAND’S FARMS.

. Un.ted Press Association. —By Electno Telegraph.—Copyright.]

LONDON, Sept. 14

Declining to hold any Harvest Thanksgiving Service, a Norfolk County vicar, the Rev. W. C. Hall wrote to his parishioners as follows: “I cannot ask you tp join in thanking God for the ruin of English farming, or for the Russian dumping, which is partly responsible for the mess that we are in. Eighty-five per cent of the land in the County of Norfolk belongs to the banks. Two hundred thousand of our agricultural workers are jobless, and they are unable to draw the dole.”
