VANCOUVER, September 14

A message from San Pedro (California) states :—With her hundred and thirty passengers and p hundred crew aboard, the liner “La Perla”, is due at Los Angeles, on Wednesday.

The Panama mail liner “Colombia” to-day lay on a rocky reef off Santa Marguerita Island, 670 miles south oi here, having gone ashore on Saturday before midnight., The passengers and crew took to the life boats and were picked up within three hours by the steamer “:San Meteeo” and transferred to the “La Perla” on Sunday night.
