ABANDONED SHIP
REFLOATS HERSELF. (Australian Press Association.) SYDNEY, September 10. The trawler “Koraaga,” grounded on a reef during last night at. Shell Harbour. The captain and crew reached the shore in lifeboats. Local residents gave them shelter. The crew were amazed, at seven o’clock this morning, to see the Karaaga drifting south on an even keel, she being apparently little the worse for her experience. The ' captain explained that he 1 had abandoned the trawler in the belief that she had become a total wreck she having had-ten feet of water in her holds.' TRAWLER SINKS. SYDNEY, September 11. Captain Oauple and members of the crew repained the derelict in the iorenoon, but later were compelled to leave. The Kara age sank at 3 p.m. a few miles from Kiama.
