Competition was irregular, with a slight easing .in, values. Best heavy steers sold to £l4 7/6, heavy £lO/5/-, to £l2/5/-, prime £9/5/- to £lO/2/b, medium £6/2/6 to £7/17/6, inferior from £5/5/. The market was steady for quality lots. Inferior consignments were 'hard to sell. There was a small entry of lat sheep, a big proportion being good heavy weathers. Very few ewes were offered.
