MONDAY, SEPT. 7th. The Stib-Union met at 8 p.m. Present:—Mesrs J. Stafford (Chair), Dowell, McGregor, McDonald, Outbush, Breeze, and Heenan. INWARD CORRESPONDENCE. From Referees, report on Saturday’s game.—Received. No senior game on Saturday owing to the Seddon Shield match at Westport. [From West Ooaist Rugby Union, challenging for Dittman f Shield on Sept. v 26th,—Received. From Millerton Club' asking for game against Excelsior Juniors on Sept. 26th. —Received; to be played as a curtain raiser at 1.30 p.m. It was resolved to advise the Ross Club that Septemebr 26th. would not 1)C suitable for their tourney. From Kiwi Club asking permission to travel to Westport on Sept. 26th. —Received and request granted and vote of £5 passed towards expenses. Applications for reinstatement to juniors from Stapleton, Morgan and Sumner were held over. It was resolved to ask the West Coast Rugby Union to send down their junior representatives on Saturday, Sept 12th. It was resolved that the seven aside tourney set down for Sept, 12th be abandoned
