SUPREME COURT
GREY-MOUTH SESSION. The quarterly session of the Supreme Court at Greymouth will commence on September 16, Mr Justice Adams presiding, and is expected to occupy three or four days. The following cases have, so far, been set down: For Sentence: Jos.ph Michael Clarke, breaking, entering and then. Civil cases: Francis George Cooper, butcher, of Greymouth, v. Texas Company (Australasia), Ltd., claim for £IOOO general 'damages and £167 5s special damages, in connection with, a motor accident which occurred in Tainui Street, Greymouth, on February 14, 1929. Before a jury of twelve. Mandl and Co., Hokitika, v. Charts Edward Senior, hotelkeeper, Taylorville claim for order for sale of certain lands. Cobden Town Board v. Greymouth Harbour Board, claim for rates on quarry, amounting to £262 18s 2d. In Divorce : James Harold Holmes v. Muriel Hilda Holmes, application for dissolution of marriage, on the ground of dessertion. The case will be defended. Contested application for probate, in the will of James O’Brien, deceased.
