Acting on information given by Spooner, desperate efforts are being now made to find the seven members of the Auckland University Field Club who are still missing. The party of seven are still missing. , Upward of two hundred searchers are scouring Whakapapiti Valley for them. A plane piloted by Isitt flew over the 'Chateau from Taup at 7.45 and is at present flying over the area in which the party is lost.' \ - The weather has cleared this morning and visibility is perfect.
