SCHNEIDER CUP. FRANCE COMPETING. (Australian Press Association.) RUGBY, August 29. A message from the French Air Ministry received at Calsbot, states that a French Schneider Cup team will arrive there within a few days, and that they will bring three machines, one Neiwport and two Berdardis. The team will be under the command of Captain Amanriche, who has been in command during the training at Marseilles. The French Air Minister, M. Duniesn.il, with his staff, will witness the race, and will probably arrive at Calsbot, in the cruiser “Focfi” on September Bth or 9th. BRITISH AIRMAN’S MISHAP. NEW YORK, August 28. A message from Cleveland (Ohio) states that Flight-Commander R. L. It. Atcherley, of England, who is visiting there for the national air,, races, received cuts and bruises in making « landing to-day.
LONG FLIGHT. BY THE GRAF ZEPPELIN. LONDON, August 29. The Graf Zeppelin has left Fnedrichshafen on a. non-stop flight to Pernambuco, Brazil. She is carrying thirteen passengers and forty-five of a crew. She expects to arrive not later than September Ist, and she will return to Friedrichshafen during the coming week-end. Captain Echener commands on the voyage which is his 216th.
