WELLINGTON, August 27,

The cross examination of Mr Hunt concluded before the special economic committee this afternoon, and the evidence of Mr H. D. Acland (Christchurch), was then heard. Mr James Begg (Dunedin), had commenced to give evidence when the committee adjourned. Messrs Begg and Acland dealt with the position of the wool growing industry.. The business that will occupy the committee’s attention to-morrow, will be as indicated last night.
