THE HOUSE. BUDGET DEBATE ENDED. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association }i WELLINGTON, August 27. In the House of Reprrsentatives the Judicial Proceedings (Regulation of Reports) Rill was reported from the Statutes Revision Committee with amendments. The following local hills were reported from the Select Committee: South Wairn.rapa R.iver Board Empowering a.”-d Auckland Harbour Bridge. The Budget debate was concluded. The Prime Minister replying said it was not his intention to refer to the debate as since the commencement a very important committee had been sot .up and lie thought the House would forgive him for not replying. He (remarked that oititicisms during: the debate had been very fair and what might be expected in respect to the Budget. There had been no ycrsonalities and the discussion had been carried along on a high level. The House then went into Committee of Supply on the Estimate, the Prime Minister immediately moving to report progress. This 1 was adopted and the House rose at 10.18 p.m. till 7-30 p.m. to-morrow. ,
