The 1931 annual festival of the West Coast Competitions Society commenced at Greymoutli yesterday morning and was continued throughout the afternoon and evening in both the Town and Trinity Balls. ‘

The judge, MiBarton Ginger, said the winner had given the test selection a s it should be given, lightly and quietly. There was nothing boisterous about it. The second place-getter had also given a good rendering, but Miss Gray has been much too colourful.
