GREY TROTTING CLUB

The annual meeting of the above Club was held oil Tuesday afternoon in the stewards’ room at Victoria Park, Greymouth, Mr H. W. Kitchingliam presiding. Prior to opening the. business, of the meeting a resolution expressing the sympathy of the Club -with , his relatives in the death ot the late Air. W. H. Newman, an old member of the club, The balance-sheet for. the year showed that the club had, in common with most other trotting clubs in New Zealand, a difficult year. The President after reviewing the balance-sheet, moved its adoption, which was carried unanimously. , ,

War lies; secretary, Air P. C. Heaphy. A vote of thanks was accorded Mrs ■IT. W. Kitchingham for her valued and gratuitous services in the running ot tire club’s tearooms, members eulogising the excellent way in which this .department was conducted. , Votes of thanks were also passed to the honorary timekeepers and track officials and also to the secretary and caretaker.
