TAWA TUNNEL
PIERCING TO-MORROW.

WELLINGTON, August 26. The big Tawa Flat railway tunnel will be pierced to-morrow. Drilling commenced in February 1929, and the progress of widening and concreting will depend on cir:uinstances, but should not take more than two
years, atul the 'Completed Hallway should he ready for handing over to the Railway Department by-1933.
