WRESTLING
MoDOUGALL WINS.
(By Telegraph—Per Press Association) AUCKLAND, Auugst 24. There was a large attendance at the Auckland Town Hall last night, on the occasion of a professional heavyweight wrestling contest between Scotty McDougall, the Scotch Canadian grappler, and “Rocky Marshall, heavyweight champion of Portugal. Marshall proved himself a clever grappler and a- real artist aft the short-arm scissors, which hold he applied better than any wrestler yet seen on the Auckland mat. The contest was won on points by McDougall at the end of the scheduled eight rounds, each man then having a fall to his credit. Air Charlie Pollard was referee.
