SPEEDWAY MISHAP. AEROPLANE COMES DOWN. LONDON, August 8. Pursuing t\\;o dirt-track motor cyclists whom he endeavoured to bomb from tlie air with bags of flour for a .wager of £2o, Major Mac-Connell had just completed the first circuit of the track in the presence of hundreds,of excited spectators at Poverc-ourt, when he nosedived to- earth and scattered the crowd. Three of the spectators, in addition to Major Mac-Connell and his mechanic, were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
