CHRISTCHURCH,, August 21.. ; The case wa s decided to-day in jthe Supreme Court; in’' which twelve ' < charges were heard Robert John' Munro, the senior partner in the firm of Munro and Hiekinbottom, tail- - ors, of alleged failure to account for money paid on behalf of the firm. The jury found that Munro had received all the nionfey mentioned Anc the charges , ,(£11$) but that, owing to very lax methds of : business taining to the partnership on both sides, the jury was forced to return a verdict of “not, guilty” of theft His Honour said thi s constituted a verdict of not guilty on all counts and the prisoner was discharged., LORRY ACCIDENT. CHRISTCHURCH, August 21. Alan Jenkins, aged 15 years of Port Levy, had • his left leg badly fractured, and received grave internal injuries, when a motor lorry, driven by hi s father, in which he was riding swerved to avoid a I motor-cyclist and crahed into a telegraph pole in Milton Street early | this evening. The father was only slightly injured, but the'boy, who was admitted - to the hospital,- is in a serious condition. •’ ’■ • ;
