KOKATAHI SALE, On \\ ednesday at the a bore yards Jeffries and Co. conducted a special sale -of dairy stock the entry comprising 89 \ head, which included some fats and one ] pen store steers. There was a demand I for all good show springers, especially so with heifers and these sold readily at prices in keeping with the butter-fat prospects of the day. The following prices' were realized. For Mrs W. Jones 4 heifer .springers at :£6 2s 6d, 4 ditto at £5 15s. For C-. Fleming 1 heifer springer at £5 17s 6d, io -ditto at '£s 12s 6d, 2 cows at £7. For W. Graham 1 runner at £2 15s. For P. Heslan 1 heifer springer at £5. For Weir Bros. 2 fat cows at £6 12s 6d, 2 ditto at £5 7s 6d, 2 dry cows at £3 10 s, 2 ditto at £3 'ss. For P. O’Neil 2 heifer springers at j£4 15s, 2 ditto at £4 10s, 1 ditto at i£4 15s, 1 ditto at £3 15, 2 cows at £4 10s. 15 steers passed at £3- Ft)r Eric Wall 2 dry cows at £4 15s, 4 heifers at £4 15s.
