Demargerie, who has retired, and was recently presented by President Von Hindenburg with the sword which the latter secured from a French officer in the Franco-Prussian War of 1870. GERMAN PRINCE DEAD. LONDON, August 21. Obituary—Prince Gerhard Bluecher. He was the fourth Prince Bluecher Von Whalstralt, and was the great-grand-son of the famous Marshal Von Bluecher. He died at a hotel in Boscombe, near Bournemouth, England, on Thurs. day, in his 67th. year. In 190* Prince Gerhard Bluecher married an English woman, who survives him. The Prince, who leaves no children, is succeeded by his brother, the Count Gustaf Bluecher.
