Great damage was done to a promenade in course of construction at Fleetwood. At Barmouth, wlure new sea defences were partially completed, . the damage is estimated at •£3,000. Heavy rain fell again yesterday in many parts of the country, causing floods and landslides. In the •North of -England and in Scotland and Wales, there wore many ‘acres flooded.
