Miss Lily Copplestone sent a letter ta the Australian Press Association from Grisnez, stating she had not abandoned the attempt, but that the Channel swimming seemed to be “a game df patience.” 1 have waited fo suitable weather since the end of July and I may have to wait for ages yet. Mrs Coleman will be the first of a dozen aspirants to start, and Miss Copplestone will be the next.
