QUAKE COMMITTEE’S DISBURSEMENT (By Telegraph—Per Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 14. A total of £171,398 has been spent from the Hawkes Bay Earthquake Fund to date, according to figures quoted by Mr Jull, a member of the Central Committee, in the House today, when lie gave information for which the Government had been pressed for some tinje. This left a balance in hand of £219,535. He said that various commitments had already been made.
