AEROPLANE RETURNS
After having left .Hokitika' at 12.45 ’p.ni., the aeroplane was reported to have come back from tye hills twice.: The first time, a quarter of an hour- after it went through it came back and circled over Koifcerangi, getting a higher altitude and then went ,on the journey l again. At 2.10 p.in. a. report from Upper Kokatahi stated 'the aeroplane had again come into view /high up, and was in the vicinity of Browning’s Pass. The ’plane returned at r ,2.40 o’clock this afternoon landings on the beach it being impossible'ttf %QSS hills fc owihg«.4o dhe poor visibility. -?**«««
