(By Telegraph —Per Press Association) NELSON. August 11. A party of six men returned from a futile search for Albert Bromell, who left alo.ne on June 18th. for a Respecting expedition on Mount Oven. Searchers had to contend with five to six* feet of snow in the busli; They esf mated that the depth of snow in the basin further on to be. twenty leer. It is considered there is no chance of Bromell being alive. It will be fully six weeks before it is possible for anyone to proceed from Wahgapeka to Owen Yallev.
