WIRELESS CALLS.

Mysterious wireless calls in which the words “Hullo Norway” in an American accent were distinguished, caused fears for the safety of Parker and Cranmer who are surveying a possible commercial air route via Greenland. Tiiey left Shetland Islands for Copenhagen and are long overdue.

The Prime Minister arid his daughter, Islihel, have concluded a two days’ visit to the century-old farmhouse, Shibercross, in Sutherland (Scotland), as guests of the American Secretary of State, and Mrs Stimson. Mr St ini son and Mr -MacDonald had a, long talk yesterday morning. Mr MacDonafd said that in his conversations with Mr Stimson, which ranged 1 over /many subjects, 11 the financial situation was naturally discussed, but the conversation wa-s entirely unofficial, and could have no political significance.
