Prussia’s Socialist .Government has launched a mass attack against hotli the Nazis and the Nationalists. There is to he a plebiscite on Sunday on a proposal to dissolve the Prussian Diet, whether the Diet likes it or not. No fewer than 2500 daily newspapers in Germany, under the recent Emergency Decree, have had to print on the front page the Government’s Manifesto declaring that a Reichstag dissolution would be inimical to Germany.

President Yon Hindenburg, becoming annoyed at the Manifesto, asked the Government to withdraw the decree, and also to prevent any future abuse of the freedom of the press.

Herrs Bruening and Curtins returned to Berlin after a satisfactory economic negotiations and also an agreement to support Italy’s motion for disarmament at the conference. She is to disarm only if, and when to the same extent, France disarms. The Pope received Herr's Bruening and Curtius.

It is revealed that Mussolini, Grandi, Bruening and Curtius knelt together in prayer- at Tivol Chapel. Mussolini has accepted an invitation to go to Berlin in September. It will be his first visit abroad .since „,the march on Rome.
