Romance, drama, music, and spectacle are all blended in the advent ot a brilliant new personality to the talking screen, in the person of Grace ,Moore; famous American soprano and Metropolitan star. In her first Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. picture, “A Lady’. I *, Morals',” a romance based on the life of Jenny Lind, and now playing at the Princess Theatre, she literally brings to life one of the greatest characters in the history of music, and through her tells one of the world’s sweetest love stories. Miss Moore is a gorgeous new screen personality, and her glorious voice, is heard, in the new picture, in music that is an integral part of the dranta>, and ranges from florid coloratura opera, arias to the simple “Lonely Hour” written by Miss Carrie : Jacobs Boil'd:’"'

The picture itself is really a new type of screen entertainment. As tile Swedish opera star, Miss Moore is seen in operatic triumphs, an intensely dramatic scene being that in which she loses her voice following a strenuous rendition, of the “Gasta Diva” from the opera “Norma.” Reginald Denny plays; the compos-er-lover, Braridt,. giving -a splendidly balanced performance as" the lover who, knowing he is doomed to blindness, sacrifices himself on the altar of liis loved'one’s career. Wallace Beery is seen in an interesting role as the late P. ’ T. Barnum,’ in' scenes showing his presentation of Jenny Lind in New York. Other clever players ip the cast include Jobyna Howland as' the droll companion, Gus Shy, Gilbert Emery, George F. Marion, Paul Poreasi, Giocanni Martino, Bodil Rosing, Joan Standing, Mavis Villiers, and Judith .Vosselli.
