There does not appear to be any possibility of the Commonwealth Bank Board agreeing in any circumstances to the reopening of negotiations with the Lang Ministry for taking over the State Savings Bank. Negotiations were'definitely ended, declared Sir Robert Gibson. RIVER MURRAY. \ HEAVILY IN FLOOD. MELBOURNE, July 29. Heavy floods on the River Murray caused hundreds of residents to leaee their homes. Many houses were entirely submerged fqttd; wheat crops were severely damaged.., B
