EATING FRUIT
DON’T SKIN THAT APPLE! , The peel of an apple contains six times as much vitamin C as the cores. This discovery has been made at the Lister Institute, in London, during a thorough investigation of the vitamins in. Empire produce. They have also found that only a very small proportion of the vitamin content of apples is lost during storage. As almost all apples grown in the Dominion are exported in cold storage, this is a piece of good news for the Empire producer.
