CONCERT AT HARIHARI

A very successful concert was held in Harihari on Friday 24th July, half of the proceeds being in aid of a new hall piano. Miss Ella Robertson of .Grcymouth proved herself a most talented young dancer whose seven items wde enthusiastically received by a large audience. Songs were contributed by Miss Cora •Lynn and Mr A. Perry (accompanied by Miss Giest) of Hokitika and by Mrs Bell and 'Mrs Northcroft of 1 Wataroa. ■Miss B. Evans of Hokitika gave several excellent recitations from her large repertoire. A short dialogue “lhe Crystal Gazes,” was excellently rendered by Mrs Bell and Mrs J. Shearer. All of the above performers were warmly received by the audience. 'I he audience was very fortunate in hearing so many talented artists. The Harihari Domain Board thanked all of the above performers who had so generously given their services in support of Miss Robertson’s programme.
