Eventually Kamehameha took the stand jump, but then refused others in succession, but after repeated attempts he completed the course in time to gain second place. Results:—• Park Hurdles.—2 Battlement 1, 5 Whakaari 2, 1 Princess Elizabeth 3. Won by half a head; a length. Time 3.17. Maiden Handicap.—l Lordly Knight 1,2 Sunny Song 2, 3 Megaphone 3.
