DROWNED IN TANK. DEATH OF MANAGER OF FOUNDRY. ELTHAM, July 22. .. Emil Leo Renai, manager of the Union Foundries, at EJtham, was found-drowned this morning in a watci storage tank on the dairy company’s premises at which be bad been working. It is surmised that lie fell from a plank across the tank while carrying a heavy kit of tools. He was well known in bowling circles, He was: a married man with three children. GUMDIGGER’S DEATH. FALL FROM HIGH CLIFF. THAMES, July 22! An inquest into the death of Jor.e Tzotich, who was l 'ound dead in the hush at the back of Thames on Sunday, was bold before a jury of four and Mr J. Glossing, J.P. , ; Medical evidence showed. -that deceased had broken liis spine and had a fractured pelvis and other wounds,; including probrvbly ■»- il'a'ctiji'ed skVi! evidently caused by a fall from a great height. Deceased was a Dalmatian gum digger who left his a tiler’s whare at Dancing Camp at 11 ' a.m. on Saturday, in search fo rgtim. As be did not return a search party was organised, and they fouaid the body the next day at the foot of a cliff about 200 feet high. Evidently he had fallen over. The body was lying face 'downward, with tlio bead on a rock. A. verdict in accordance with the medical evidence was returned that death was due to injuries caused by an accidental fall.
